Salvo Grima Group chairman Robert C. Aquilina has just been elected chairman of the newly-launched Logistics Business Section of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise. The new section aims to strengthen the logistics sector by giving it a unified voice to propose ideas and solutions for structured growth.

During the launch, Mr. Aquilina noted that Malta was experiencing an unprecedented growth in the logistics sector, which underlined the timeliness of setting up such a committee. “I am happy to once again be of service to the business community as Chairman of this committee within the Malta Chamber. I intend to lead the vastly experienced members of the committee for the benefit of the sector and the Maltese economy in general” said Mr Aquilina.

The five-member committee is composed of Mr. Robert C Aquilina (Salvo Grima Group) as Chairman, Mr. David Fleri Soler (Express Trailers Ltd) as Deputy Chairman, and Mr. Hugh Arrigo (Attard & Co Industrial Ltd), Mr. Pierre Attard (CMA CGM Malta Agency Ltd) and Mr. Ronald Attard (EY) as members.Election of representatives took place on 23rd August 2016.
