CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our Business Applications and Data Analytics team based in Malta. 

 The duties include:

·        Cloud Infrastructure Oversight: Managing and optimizing the performance of our cloud-based infrastructure, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
·        Data Warehouse Oversight: Administering data warehouse operations, ensuring data integrity, availability, and optimal query performance.
·        Security Measures: Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
·        Collaborative Efforts: Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to align security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and implementing measures to protect against potential threats.
·        System Performance Optimization: Conducting regular system performance assessments, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to optimize overall functionality.
·        Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
 
The ideal candidate would:
·        Be in possession of a degree in ICT, Engineering or related field is preferred.
·        Have proven experience as a Cloud Administrator or in a similar role.
·        Show proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
·        Have experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure.
·        Be skilled in overseeing data warehouse operations, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
·        Be knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining security measures, including access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
·        Show strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate efforts with internal teams and external partners.
ACCOUNTS OFFICER
We are looking for an Accounts Officer  to join our  Finance team based in Marsa, Malta, on a full-time basis. 
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
·        Performing general accounting duties, such as dealing with client invoicing; checking, processing and posting sales / purchases invoices, suppliers’ payments and reconciliations; 

·        Collecting cash sales (cash and cheques), preparing the necessary deposits and processing same through the accounting system;

·        Issuing monthly or weekly reports;

·        Data inputting, reconciliations or other analysis as required;

·        Performing general reporting, office and administrative support functions including maintaining records.

The ideal candidate:
·        Has the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
·        Is in possession of an A’ Level standard of Education: in Accounts or a similar subject;
·        Is computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications;
·        Is fluent in English, written and spoken. Fluency in Maltese would be considered an asset;
·        Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset. 
 
PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE (PROVISIONS)

We are looking for a Procurement Executive (Provisions) to join our  Ship Supply team based in Marsa, Malta, on a full-time basis. 
 
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
·        Processing of quotations and orders via the Group computer system;
·        Ensuring that clients’ enquiries are responded in a punctual manner;
·        Sourcing of goods and monitoring pricing competitiveness;
·        Maintaining and developing strong relationships with current and potential suppliers. 

The ideal candidate would be:
·        Be flexible to work under pressure to tight deadlines, independently, and as part of a team;
·        Be enterprising, motivated, multitasking, precise and organised;
·        Able to negotiate, communicate clearly, and deal with suppliers;
·        Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this role;
·        Experience in the procurement of items of a technical nature, as well as being highly computer-literate and fluent in spoken and written English, are essential.
INTERNATIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE (DAQSO BV)
We are looking for a full-time International Sales Executive to join our Dutch Subsidiary, DAQSO BV. This post is based in the Netherlands, with the option of working in Malta for up to 3 months on an annual basis.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Establishing and maintaining strong positive relationships with clients and new customers;
  • Being responsible for the full sales cycle; ensuring all sales proposals and agreements are processed in a timely and effective manner;
  • Researching new markets and products and using it to generate action plans and pursue them;
  • Expanding the company’s portfolio and test out new business ideas and strategies;
  • Generating new business opportunities.
 
The ideal candidate would be:
  • Detail-oriented, whilst also having the bigger picture in sight;
  • Able to work individually and take ownership, as well as part of a team;
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in dealing with clients both in person and digitally;
  • Able to work and adapt within a fast-paced ever-changing, international environment;
  • Analytical and commercially minded, with an ability to close deals. Previous and proven experience in sales would also be ideal;
  • Computer-literate and fluent in written and spoken English, plus other EU languages such as Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.
